Party Central disappointed at Down Royal last time out behind Impervious but has pretty solid bumper form. Party Central will desperately want soft ground so any rain between now and the race will help.

13:45 Cork – Concertista

This is a really good race with Concertista, Dolcita and Magic Daze all in action. Magic Daze and Razzle Dazzle Love will set the pace but I fancy Concertista to stay on and strike late.

14:00 Punchestown – Fakir Doudairies

Allaho is the highest-rated runner for Willie Mullins in this one and he was spectacular last year at Cheltenham but the concern is his record first time out. It looks like he needs a run first. Envoi Allen and Fakir Doudairies both have a run under their belts and Fakir Doudairies was impressive last time out at Clonmel. He isn’t a horse to follow throughout the season but as for a winner for this race, I’m on Fakir Doudairies.

14:20 Cork – Energumene

I had the pleasure of riding Energumene on Tuesday morning and he’s in really good form. They’ll go at a pace at Cork and jumping is Energumene’s biggest attribute. Hopefully it holds up.

14:35 Punchestown – Ferny Hollow

Willie was in no doubt about Ferny Hollow. Coeur Sublime and Thedevilscoachman seem the only real competition in this one. Ferny Hollow has ran once over hurdles and beat Bob Olinger. He’s also beaten Appreciate It. He looks pretty special and his form holds up.
