13:45 Magic Saint
ITV Racing Friday gets under way here with a handicap chase over 2m. A pretty open event where slick jumping will be key. There should be a very strong gallop with both Stolen Silver and Editeur du Gite natural front runners. That sets it up for the closer MAGIC SAINT for Paul Nicholls and Angus Cheleda. Off a mark of 152 my hope is by no means a well handicapped horse but the make-up of this race suits and he has won off this mark here before. It’s also a second run after a wind operation which might be key.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
14:20 My Drogo
Now a novice chase over 2m4f. Not going to take long here. I put up MY DROGO as my most exciting horse of the season to follow on an At The Races jump preview show and I fully expect the talented hurdler to make a winning chase debut for Dan and Harry Skelton. Only an accident will stop him. Top prospect.
14:55 Potters Corner (E/W)
This is a cross-country chase over an extended 3m6f. I can’t help but feel the old boy POTTERS CORNER is a well handicapped horse now for Christian Williams and Jack Tudor. The eleven-year-old is clearly not as good as he once was, but he’s still a grand old chaser who can operate over these fences and stays very well. A good eachway bet.

15:30 Gelino Bello
A Grade 2 novice hurdle over 2m5f. Hard to oppose GELINO BELLO for Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden. The youngster won well at Plumpton first time and was a fine third at Newbury before scoring in a maiden hurdle at Aintree on October 24. He travelled like a machine that day and won easily looking to have a bright future.
So best of luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. You hear me Paddy?
