Having gone close at Gowran last time back from a break, DUNUM (nap) looks poised to strike now with that run under his girth. Nana Patsy, Destacado, Jazz Dreamers and Barretstown look the ones to give him most to worry about.

After winning so easily at Listowel last week, Is That Love would normally be hard to beat with the 6lb penalty but he has a wide draw to defy, so a sporting shout is given to C&D winner CASTLETOWNSHEND. Though well-held by the former that day, he was back from a break then and should have tightened up for the run. Frankie Dettori’s Trueba and Red Heel can get involved.

15:40 Gatwick Kitten

For the second time this season, GATWICK KITTEN indicated race-winning potential at Navan when fifth in a slightly higher grade there last time and he can make the breakthrough from a reasonable draw. King’s View is knocking on the door and has a race-fitness edge over the hat-trick seeking Dolce Sicily, while Tuesday’s Cork winner Coffeemeanscoffee would merit consideration if getting a run.

A small field but only Effernock Fizz is relatively easy to rule out and even she is not without a chance. PHOENIX COWBOY was progressive prior to getting no run at Leopardstown and is chosen to regain the winning thread. Maiden winners Castletownbere and Cycladic have plenty of scope for more progression and are feared most.

There might be another win in topweight FRANNO who has been very consistent and won over further at this venue in July. Easy Dundalk winner No Trouble is well-in under a penalty but hasn’t been the same horse on turf so far in his career, and a bigger danger could be Firstman who ran his best race on Irish soil last time.

Placed a couple of times at this venue in previous seasons, three-time winner GREENPANDA can go well if returning to the form of her reappearance victory at Sligo. Lily Of The Glen is interesting starting off for Ado McGuinness while Miss Louise and Swelltime are others for the shortlist.
