13:45 Sligo – Ten Ten Twenty

John Joe Murphy’s runners are going well at the moment and he’s won two of his last nine. Ten Ten Twenty comes into this run on the back of a couple of second-place finishes. He finishes second at Galway on Sunday behind Church Mountain. He didn’t get a clear run in that one and this is a slight step down in class. Colin Keane and Murphy have a 50 per cent strike rate in 2021. It’s also worth noting that Ten Ten Twenty is better on right-handed tracks. The obvious danger is Bader Ginsburg, who’s up 6lbs after his win at Down Royal last month.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

14:17 Sligo – Sheishybrid

The Noel Meade-trained Sheishybrid was no match for Iowa in the Ulster Derby but she was a solid winner at Down Royal prior to that. She was also a very unlucky third over course and distance at Sligo and she would have won if she had a clear run. Chris Hayes has an 18 per cent strike rate under Meade in 2021. Both the jockey and trainer are in good form. Miss Myers and Aurora Princess are the dangers.

14:52 Sligo – Shoe Box King

This is a 6f maiden and realistically it’ll come down to two or three runners. Arges is the obvious selection having finished second at Naas last time out but it’s a worry he’s back out straight away as well as still being a maiden after six starts. We’ll take him on and go with Shoe Box King, who is in pretty good form. He was second at Fairyhouse a couple of runs ago which looks strong. He also represents Kevin Coleman and Luke McAteer, who have a 25 per cent strike rate in 2021. Wee Winnie deserves a mention but it’s worth backing Shoe Box King to beat Arges.

15:27 Sligo – Princess Rajj

We’re going to look for a bit of value here and go with Princess Rajj, who makes her handicap debut. She comes into this one on the back of two solid runs in good maidens. You can forgive her last run as the ground wasn’t ideal for her and the better ground will suit her here. Princess Rajj’s trainer Jessica Harrington had three winners at Galway last week. Shinkansen and Hot Sunset are the dangers.
