It’s all eyes on the Nassau Stakes on Thursday at Goodwood as the Group 1 contest is the main event of the seven-race card down in south east England. It’s been a bit wet and wild but Thursday could offer the best weather on show for the remainder of the Festival.

The Nassau Stakes is the feature race on Thursday and the favourite, Audarya only gets one vote and that comes from the boffins at Timeform. It’s a 2-2 spit between Lady Bowthorpe and Joan Of Arc between the rest of the panel. Lady Bowthorpe gets the nod from Mick Fitz becuase, “She has solid form on flower ground and that might make the difference.
Matt Chapman is in Joan Of Arc’s corner. “She’s tactically versatile, and the French Oaks heroine can race prominently or lead if she needs to under Ryan Moore,” Mc Yeeehaaa explains.
