Having possibly found a mile too far last time, EMILIE GRAY should be suited by reverting to this trip over which she’s twice been placed and gets the vote. Moving For Gold has shown ability on all three starts and looks an obvious threat, while Prince Hector is a newcomer to note.
Difficult to choose between Radiyka and TWINKLE after both made promising debuts in strong maidens at Leopardstown. The latter gets the nod, with Alizarine by far the most interesting of the newcomers.
A very open affair in which a chance is taken on ROYAL CANFORD at the prices. She clearly needs to improve on ratings but could be dangerous if getting into a rhythm on the front end and has a workable draw. Emaniya, Thinking Of You and Neptune Rock are closely matched on Killarney form, while older fillies Mia Mento and Rocket Science are no back numbers either.
A cracking feature handicap in which MAZAGRAN is taken to confirm the promise shown on his Irish debut at Limerick, still very interesting off his new mark of 94. The admirable Njord rarely runs a bad race and is bound to put up another bold showing, albeit he’s probably has no secrets from the handicapper. Ado McGuinness has a possible six runners and cases can be made for several. Soaring Monarch, trained by Peter Fahey, is another live contender.
A tricky race to weigh up, but there is the potential for BASEMAN to be effective at a higher level than this, for all that the bare form of his Limerick breakthrough doesn’t entitle him to do that. Moddy Poddle is a filly on the up and Matchless has the ability to win a race like this, but there will likely be a good battle on for the lead and the Weld colt, who will probably be ridden patiently, makes most appeal in that set of circumstances. Draconid is worth a market check.

If he gets luck in running, CHIMERIC still looks well-treated after being narrowly denied on his last two outings. The consistent Tipperary Moon has been done no favours by the draw but is still one for the shortlist along with C&D winners Out On Friday and Imposing Supreme.
Touched off at this meeting last year, TAKE MY HAND may go one better after returning to form at Naas last week. Dance Emperor has struck a rich vein of form and is an obvious danger, while Khafaaq and The Mpex Kid have both shown up well around here before and are others to consider.
Cases can be made for plenty but MAZE RUNNER (nap) is difficult to get away from, with the only concern being his lack of a recent run and the need for luck in running from stall 15. Walking On Glass and Crowns Major have obvious claims, while Act Of God and Decimal Day could have more to offer from their current marks. From an each-way perspective, it would be interesting if the first or third reserves, Anyonecanhaveitall and Nathaniel’s Dream, managed to get in.
