18:45 – Copper Knight
An up-to-scratch renewal of this historic sprint. The tireless veteran Caspian Prince comes here in good form and should make a bold bid to follow up his success here 12 months ago. Kind Review goes from strength to strength and shouldn’t be underestimated but Tim Easterby looks to hold a very strong hand courtesy of Count D’Orsay, Sunday Sovereign and COPPER KNIGHT. A win for either Count D’Orsay or Sunday Sovereign wouldn’t surprise at all but Copper Knight took advantage of his reduced mark at York last month and he can take this prize for a second time.
19:20 – Sea Empress
Zeyaadah will find this opposition less taxing than in the Oaks three weeks ago when she was one of the market leaders, and she is not dismissed lightly, but the vote goes to the very promising SEA EMPRESS, who is unbeaten on the AW and looks well worth her place in this higher grade. Stablemate Lilac Road is a solid contender and makes the most appeal of the remainder.

19:55 – Mostaqqer
Tom Marquand is a positive booking for MOSTAQQER (nap), who was in good form in the spring and can raise his game further after a short break. Heading the list of dangers is his fellow topweight Sharpcliff, while Forus and Beyond Infinity, first and second at Wolverhampton recently, should be involved in the shake-up again. Jupiter Road seems to be running into form and is another to consider.
20:25 – Marrakech Moon
At least three of the penalised runners are useful prospects and the promising MARRAKECH MOON, whose Yarmouth win has worked out well, gets the nod ahead of the impressive Kempton scorer Wishaah. Saeed bin Suroor is represented by two, and, although Silent Escape is respected, his other runner Gold Wing went off favourite on her only 2yo outing and should not be dismissed lightly either.
20:55 – Lofty
In an open finale, a chance is taken with LOFTY, who is well handicapped judged on his sole C&D win and has had excuses of late. Heading the list of dangers is the lightly raced Inexplicable, with Cmon Cmon and Cap D’Antibes among others with possibilities.
