ISOTOPE took another step forward on the Flat at Roscommon a couple of weeks ago.
She never featured on her hurdle debut at Galway last autumn, but her Flat ability gives her the scope to leave that run well behind and she’s preferred to Swelltime – who has run well on the Flat since her hurdle debut second, and Gordon Elliott’s Oak Park.

METICULOUS wasn’t beaten that far in good company over hurdles at the beginning of the year and should take a fair bit of stopping with his sights lowered.
Conor O’Dwyer’s Jon Ess made a sound return to hurdles when second at Limerick last week and gets the nod for the forecast spot ahead of Thurles bumper winner Coolbane Boy.
14:00 Avanzi
Gordon Elliott’s AVANZI showed plenty of ability when third in a Ballinrobe bumper last summer and is selected to make a winning start over hurdles for the Elliott/Davy Russell pairing.
With A Start brings some fairly useful Flat form to the table, including a recent second on his first run for Noel Meade, and will be a threat if taking to hurdles. Trump Card could also have a say.
14:30 Barrington Court
BARRINGTON COURT advertised her well-being with an improved effort to score at Tipperary on her return and she can follow up here at the chief expense of Gordon Elliott-trained duo Battle of Wills and Gealach.
Recent winners Politicise and Skyace are highly respected too in an open contest.
15:00 Shannon Fields
Lots with chances, but SHANNON FIELDS arrives here on the up and is taken to open his account.
Captain Courageous rates a big threat on the back of his good recent Tipperary fourth, while Luis Van Zandt can make his presence felt too.
15:30 Gun Merchant
GUN MERCHANT really caught the eye on his return at Tipperary, so is fancied to open his account over hurdles now he goes back into handicap company.
Roi De Dubai rates a big threat on the back of his good Bellewstown second, while the unexposed Henry Brown can step forward now he goes into handicaps.
16:00 Mr Jackman
The Tipperary bumper in which MR JACKMAN made a successful debut was almost certainly a stronger race than this, and he should have little trouble in following-up under a penalty here.
It’ll be interesting to see what the market makes of Flat-bred newcomer Riqaaby and she may be the one to follow Mr Jackman home. Elusive Specimen showed signs of ability at Limerick and is best of the rest.
16:35 Jimmy Jimmy
Having stuck to the task well when runner-up over 2m at Navan on his latest start in March, JIMMY JIMMY is confidently expected to go one better here with this step up in trip likely to be right up his street.
Florey Spud’s debut effort was not devoid of promise and may be next best ahead of Bavarian Girl.
