Horse Racing tips: Timeform’s 9 awesome wagers at Ayr on Monday

SILVER START had excuses last time at Bath when ridden too aggressively, she has plenty of natural speed and looks to be on a decent mark.

With Ben Curtis taking over in the saddle, she should go close. Ice Ice Lady and Mecca’s Hot Steps rate as the main dangers to her.

13:20 Toussarok

TOUSSAROK looked a colt of potential at Newcastle last month and he’s difficult to oppose as he attempts to back that success up.

Captain Magnum brings a similar standard of form to the table and is a danger getting 7lb from his rival.

Darvel was clearly well regarded for his debut to go off favourite and can’t be ruled out.

13:50 Ventura Express

VENTURA EXPRESS looks to have been brought along with handicaps in mind and an opening mark of 65 looks workable given he may improve further.

Prissy Missy looks a filly who is progressing at the moment and can’t be ruled out. Epeius makes most appeal of the older horses.

14:20 Angels Faces

This can go to ANGELS FACES, who upped her game when runner-up at Musselburgh last month and remains fairly treated. My Dandy Doc and Jordan Electrics are feared most.

14:50 Summa Peto

SUMMA PETO sets the standard here and remains with potential for further improvement. He can get off the mark. Chase The Dollar is feared most.

15:20 Jack Randall

JACK RANDALL shaped well on his debut for Iain Jardine at Musselburgh last month and will likely benefit from the return to this trip. He can land the spoils.

Lagenda and Hachert rate the principal dangers.

15:50 Dreamseller

DREAMSELLER produced a somewhat underwhelming display when sixth at Hamilton just over 3 weeks ago. He’s worth another chance to build on his impressive win at Thirsk for the in-form Tim Easterby team.

Catch My Breath rates as the biggest threat on paper after his recent runner-up effort at Kempton, while My Valentino should be seen to better effect over this more suitable trip.

16:20 Thai Terrier

THAI TERRIER is selected to make a winning handicap debut for Middleham-based trainer Mark Johnston. He got off the mark at the third time of asking at Chelmsford back in January and his opening mark of 76 could prove to be a touch lenient.

Glasses Up is in top form at present and rates as the biggest danger, ahead of Returnofthemac and last-time-out scorer Pour Me A Drink.

16:50 Smart Lass

SMART LASS still looks fairly handicapped despite an 8lb rise for the second of her two wins last season and gets the vote after a promising comeback at Thirsk three weeks ago.

Lizzie Loch has returned in good heart and should go well again, while One Last Hug ran well upped considerably in trip over this C&D last week.
