4.17 pm – SAINT TURGEON

SAINT TURGEON is lightly raced and won on the third attempt in a hurdle by a neck. Strong chance on handicap debut. Galopin De Balme was an impressive winner last start at La Teste by 2L. Going into handicaps and needs to be considered. Le Huron was well beaten in a hurdle behind two of his re-opposing rivals. Top jockey has taken over and consider second up. Romako has been consistent in four hurdles and interesting now handicapping.

4.52 pm – FONTANNES

FONTANNES won by 1L at Auteuil in latest over 3500m. Could go close in a bid for a hat-trick. Fox Trot was second, beaten 1L in this class behind Fontannes and is considered again. Forland was well beaten last start however has shown form previously. Fitter and a big player. Fandango drops from Listed company and may improve.

5.27pm – GARDONS LE SOURIRE

In different ways, the Francois Nicolle pair Le Lude and Nanosecond make some appeal but GARDONS LE SOURIRE is the one at this point in time looks the readiest to land a first top-flight success. Baxter Du Berlais is the one with potential to step up on what he’s done so far.

6.00 pm – JAMES DU BERLAIS

This looks really open with no obvious standout performer in the lineup. Kool Has has the best form, while stablemate Born To Hold has plenty of potential, but the one who could go on to be a bit special is JAMES DU BERLAIS, who runs in the Simon Munir & Isaac Souede silks for the first time.
