Our racing boffins have nine nifty tips for you.

DeauvilleMay20b

12:25 Edge Of Victory @ 7/4

Wind Spirit is expected to make an impression on debut. He is by Charm Spirit and purchased for a price at the breeze up sales in 2019. Early speed likely from him. EDGE OF VICTORY catches the eye though with an impressive pedigree. He’s out of Group 1 winning mare Beauty Parlour and has a leading chance. Kenyx represents leading connections and was bought as a yearling at Arqana. He’s one to respect. Arcaway could sneak into the frame.

13:00 Right Hand @ 11/4

This is a newcomers maiden for three year old fillies. RIGHT HAND makes her debut for noted connections and looks a top chance. Cubit is well bred and has an eye-catching jockey booking. Queen Of Love and Samaher both are worth noting.

13:35 La Poutanesca @ 7/2

LA POUTANESCA was a neck second in handicap at this venue back in March. She has had a small break subsequently and looks a top chance. Grace Bere ran fourth beaten 2L in a Chantilly handicap in March. Prior to that won back-to-back conditions races. She’s a big player off the same mark. Meri Senshi delivered a good comeback to racing last week with a fifth in a Saint-Cloud handicap and needs to be considered again. Golden Rajsa comes with a jockey who won on him four starts back.

14:15 Salsa Doloise @ 15/4

SALSA DOLOISE ran home strongly to finish third last time out in a handicap. This is a similar race again and looks a big chance. Pikes Peak delivered back-to-back fourths and is proven at this level. She could be a big player once again. Free Horse finished third when last seen and is more than entitled to feature again. Princess Emma was beaten a neck in a handicap back in March and needs to be considered. Amerikanane holds each way claims.

14:50 Ribot Dream @ 11/4

RIBOT DREAM is hard to fault on recent form. He was narrowly beaten third at Salon de Provence in latest and can take advantage of an inside draw. Royal Aspiration was a credible fourth at Chantilly over 1200m when last seen and is expected to produce another big performance despite a wide starting position. Star Of Paris was a winner two back and only beaten 2.25L into seventh at Chantilly last time. Pretty Strange holds each-way claims.

15:25 Call The Wind @ 4/7

CALL THE WIND won the valuable handicap on the under-card for the Saudi Cup in late February. Narrowly beaten in G1 Prix du Cadran in October by Holdthasigreen and can reverse the form. He is hard to find fault with. Holdthasigreen returns after a seven-month break. Finished off previous campaign with a third in G1 Prix Royal Oak. Diluvien steps up in class after a listed success at Saint Cloud in November. Libello could sneak into the frame.

16:00 Bring On The Night @ 4/5

BRING ON THE NIGHT improved markedly on second outing to win well at Compiegne. He is up in level but looks tough to beat in this. L’Aigle won a maiden three starts back and was sixth on return in a C1 conditions race. This is a drop in class and he could progress. Gommerville won on debut at a country track and is one to consider. Mandarita is making her debut and could feature behind the front two.

16:35 Verti Chop @ 12/1

VERTI CHOP has not been seen since August, however he did end previous campaign with a good fourth in a handicap at Deauville. He looks a strong chance for the comeback. Soaring Eagle won back in March a claimer at Chantilly over 1600m by 0.75L. She’s unexposed in claimers and looks a top chance in this too. Planteur Davier is lightly-raced and is dropping into claiming company for the first time, so can improve. Time To Fly going into a claimer for the first time in a while and can be considered.

17:10 Tawkeel @ 4/7

TAWKEEL is going for a hat-trick after winning her first two career starts. She was impressive on most recent effort and is tough to beat. Wangari was a course and distance winner on most recent outing in a maiden. Coming up a level, but cannot be ruled out. La Norma won by 2.5L at Craon on second career outing in a maiden. She can improve and needs to be considered too. Thunderdome ran second in a claimer two starts back and is a place chance at best.
