MISTER STORM was only just denied by a head at this track last time and should put up another bold showing for the in-form Jose Delgado barn. J’s Flashy Halo appeals as best of the remainder, while Actspectation and Danzo can’t entirely be left out of calculations either.

TOTAL DISTRACTION is best forgiven his most recent effort, when trapped wide in a much stronger race than this one, and he should be able to bounce back to form in this easier company. Good On Ya is of interest on stable debut and should go well too. Devil’s Rule also requires a second look.
21:00 Santa Anita – Miss Ryleigh @ 5/2
MISS RYLEIGH is dropping markedly in grade and switches from turf to dirt in this maiden claimer. She is taken to get off the mark at third time of asking, with the unraced pair Instastory and Curvaceous rated the biggest threats.
23:00 Santa Anita – Adens Dream @ 2/1
ADENS DREAM drops in grade and looks the main speed in this claimer. John Sadler’s gelding is taken to make all against lesser opposition than he’s faced on his last few outings. Buster Douglas and Black Storm are others that should be in contention.
23:30 Santa Anita – Civil Suit @ 7/4
The class-dropping CIVIL SUIT makes plenty of appeal in a maiden claimer that doesn’t have a great deal of depth to it. Not disgraced in a pair of turf starts, the selection is bred more for dirt, and ought to relish the surface switch. Caught in a Trappe ran well to be second on debut and could be the main danger.
