14:00 Naas: Daly Tiger
Cilaos Emery and Bachasson concede a 9lb penalty to the rest of the field so I fancy Daly Tiger here. Bachasson could find this trip too sharp potentially, while Cilaos Emery has a little to prove now. Daly Tiger is rated 157 and has won two competitive handicaps this season off 137 and 147. He impressed in the Dan Moore last time and I expect more of the same here.
15:10 Fontwell: McFabulous
It’s difficult to look beyond McFabulous, even with his 6lb penalty. He’s won four of his last five starts over hurdles, with his only defeat coming in the G2 Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury when third behind Thyme Hill and Paisley Park. He didn’t quite see out the 3m there but he can win this. He’ll also be a big player in the Aintree Hurdle.

17:30 Naas – Gerri Colombe
Gerri Colombe won his bumper debut at Fairyhouse in January by 24 lengths and left an impression on me. I’d be interested to see if he bolted up again here if Gordon would still resist the Champion Bumper. I think he could be up to that class.
