Constitution Hill Next Race: Aintree Hurdle odds and tips for Thursday 3.30

The most exciting horse in the game is back!

Constitution Hill wins the Champion Hurdle

The equine freak that is Constitution Hill is set to tackle the Aintree Hurdle before signing off for the season.

Nicky Henderson’s stable superstar is six from six under rules after destroying the field in last month’s Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle could be Constitution Hill’s final assignment over timber as the larger obstacles are being considered by connections for next season.

Constitution Hill is set to face five rivals in Thursday’s 15:30 including stablemate Epatante, who he has already beaten by 12l in the Fighting Fifth and 17l in the Christmas Hurdle.

Zanahiyr was 13l behind in third in the Champion Hurdle while I Like To Move It was a further 21l back.

Veteran pair Sharjah, a dual Champion Hurdle runner-up, and Sceau Royal complete the field.

Constitution Hill’s odds for the Aintree Hurdle can be found on the Paddy Power website, Paddy Power app or via our snazzy betting widget below.

Otherwise, the boffins at Timeform have delivered their assessment of Constitution Hill’s chances in the race…

Timeform: This may be the last chance we get to see CONSTITUTION HILL over the smaller obstacles and it’s difficult to envisage anything but another impressive winning display from this magnificent performer. Last year’s winner Epatante is just preferred to Zanahiyr for the forecast spot.
