York’s Ebor Festival is the highlight of August’s action as the Knavesmire plays host to the stars of the Flat game.
The four-day meeting is scheduled to run from Wednesday, August 17 until Saturday, August 20 and there are a host of quality contests on the agenda including the Group 1 Juddmonte International which is set to see Baaeed, the world’s leading horse on official ratings, step up in trip to an extended 10 furlongs for the first time in his career.

Racegoers could also see Alpinista take on her younger rivals like Magical Lagoon and Tuesday in the Yorkshire Oaks, Stradivarius attempt to secure a fourth Lonsdale Cup, while the lucrative Ebor Handicap provides each-way punting angles on the final day.
