Rachael Blackmore is set for a busy week in the saddle as the Irish National Hunt season concludes with the 2022 Punchestown Festival.

As the top jockey for Henry de Bromhead, the Country Tipperary native can expect plenty of cracking rides as the stable’s stars look to plunder the final prizes of the campaign.

She is operating at a 11 per cent strike rate over the last 14 days after firing in three wins from her last 27 rides.

Blackmore has three bookings on the fourth day of the 2022 Punchestown Festival (with five more to come on Saturday) and you can find details of her mounts below.

Bob Olinger Rachael Blackmore

Friday 16:15 – Gabbys Cross

A real mixed bag of results on his first season over fences, Gabbys Cross finally broke his duck at the fourth time of asking at Naas in February. The Grade A EMS Copiers Novice Handicap Chase looks a wide-open contest.

Friday 17:25 – Honeysuckle

Well, this one doesn’t need any introduction, does it? The unbeaten superstar and dual Champion Hurdle heroine is the red-hot favourite for the Paddy Power Champion Hurdle after Constitution Hill and Epatante swerved a clash.

Friday 19:10 – Watch House Cross

Blackmore was in the saddle when last home in the Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival – 82l behind subsequent Ballymore winner Sir Gerhard – but the five-year-old did get off the mark over flights at the first time of asking back in December. He is rated 24lbs inferior to El Fabiolo in this.

Saturday 14:35 – Somptueux

Somptueux has only run once since a busy summer campaign last year and heads into the Dooley Insurance Group Cross Country Chase off the back of a lengthy break.

Saturday 15:10 – Plan Of Attack

A credible third in the Cross Country Chase behind Delta Work and Tiger Roll at last month’s Cheltenham Festival, Plan Of Attack comes up against the likes of Anibale Fly and Agusta Gold in the Colm Quinn BMW Handicap Chase.

Saturday 15:50 – Telmesomethinggirl

A winner at last year’s Cheltenham Festival, Telmesomethinggirl has failed to score at three attempts this term and faces a challenge to beat Epatante in the Coolmore Kew Gardens Irish EBF Mares Champion Hurdle.

Saturday 16:25 – Popong

Blackmore is back in the saddle 19 days after Popong placed behind Fighter Allen at Tramore but the Palmerstown House Pat Taaffe Handicap Chase looks a wide-open contest with the likes of Phoenix Way and Defi Bleu declared.

Saturday 17:30 – Irascible

Irascible returned to winning ways at Cork earlier this month after finishing well down the field in the County Hurdle.
