A bit of a repeat of the opening day’s weather with light cloud and a gentle breeze forecast once again. It’s hardly the stuff of summer bliss but it could be worse. At least the ground is unlikely to soften…

Friday

The threat of rain gradually ticks up a notch but light clouds and light winds are forecast to be the general theme of the day. A high of 20C means it should be a warmish affair on the Knavesmire.

Saturday

Ah, this might be more like the great British weather that everyone knows and loves. The heavens are forecast to open, with heavy showers possible for the final day of racing. A bit of juice in the ground could change the going and ruin plenty of antepost punts…
