18:00 – Trap 1 – Ronaldo
Very surprising he ran as poor as he did latest in Grade C. He finished second when leading everywhere but the line when going down by a half length in Grade B back on April 3rd. If he reproduces that run from this plum draw he will win this race going away and he gets a confident vote to strike early and lead box to wire.
18:32 – Trap 2 – Bs Shanghyde
The last time the selection was seen in this grade won by six lengths so you can understand why she is one of the best bets on the card. Nine races since that win and confidence knocked, she should have too much class for her rivals dropped in class here. Also there is a lack of early pace in the race and that is a major help as she likes to be on the bunny. Get on folks. NB on the card.
18:48 – Trap 7 – Disco Moves (NAP)
Hard to believe he was dropped to Grade B last time when you consider he won three of his last nine races in Grade A previously. Now he went down in that race but he enhanced his reputation with an incredible performance when faced with a nightmare draw in trap 2. Back on the outside here and believe me this dog cannot be drawn wide enough. Lightning won’t strike twice with this dog. NAP selection.
19:36 – Trap 7 – Bgr Fire N Ice
Feature race on the card and as you would expect a cracker. Trap 7 Bgr Fire N Ice was majestic when winning a feature race two starts ago from a similar draw. Heavily supported latest he just got no run and found trouble everywhere he turned. A clearer passage expected here and watch him take off down the back straight, he is a real strong stayer. So fingers crossed at the opening bend.
20:08 – Trap 1 – Superior Magnet
A very competitive race and the selection is the best drawn greyhound on the card. This contest is all about the first bend as there is blistering early pace all round and something will have to give at the opening corner. I’m hoping Superior Magnet can come away running and leave all the trouble behind. A run for your money is expected.
