The first major of the Golf calendar is set to take flight as the world’s top players return to the Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters.
John Rahm is the defending champion and aims to become the first golfer since Tiger Woods in 2002 to retain the iconic green jacket.
However, after a great start to the season winning both the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship, 2022 winner Scottie Scheffler will tee off as the favourite.
Rory McIlroy is the best hope from our corner of the world as he looks to win the one major that has so far eluded him and finally complete the career grand slam.
He hasn’t had a great start to 2024, though, and will have to be on top of his game if he’s to overcome the likes of Scheffler and Rahm.
