Who will win the Masters 2024? Paddy Power’s odds for Augusta golf major

Who will win the iconic green jacket?

John Rahm 20243 Masters Champion

The first golf major of the year is nearly here as the best in the sport head to the Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters.

Arguably the most prestigious event in golf, the prize for the winner is the coveted green jacket – something which every professional player dreams of getting their hands on.

John Rahm is the defending champion after shooting a three-under-par 69 to clinch last year’s crown for his second major career victory two years on from winning the US Open.

He heads to Augusta facing stiff competition from 2022 champion Scottie Scheffler, who is the world number one and recently became the first player in history to retain The Player’s Championship.

Irishman Rory McIlroy is another one to watch, with the Masters the only major to elude him so far in his career. 2021 runner-up Will Zalatoris will also fancy his chances at winning a first major.

The latest Masters odds are on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, the leading contenders and their prices can be seen via our snazzy betting widgets below.

Rory McIlroy

Scottie Scheffler

Scottie Scheffler has started the 2024 season incredibly well, winning two huge PGA Tour events so far in the Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Player’s Championship.

He will be the one to beat and, crucially, knows what it takes to win at Augusta.

Rory McIlroy

Irish fans will be cheering on Rory McIlroy, although he hasn’t won a major since 2014. He came second to Scheffler in 2022 and will want to do everything he can to avoid that happening again.

He too has started the year well winning the high-profile Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour back in January.

Jon Rahm

Only three have ever secured back-t0-back Masters and Jon Rahm will forever be remembered if he can pull off the spectacular and win again.

He will have to play some near-perfect golf if he’s to do it but anything can happen.

Xander Schauffele

Xander Schauffele is still chasing a maiden major but he has Augusta experience after placing second in the 2019 Masters.

While he has failed to land a tournament since the turn of the year, the 30-year-old has secured five top-ten finishes from eight starts and is likely to be in contention by the final round.
