The first major of the golf season is finally here as the world’s top players return to the Augusta National Golf Club for the Masters.
It takes place from Thursday, April 11 to Sunday, April 14 with the field being the smallest of all the major championships due to the event being strictly invitation only.
There is criteria that players must meet to earn a spot and 88 players are currently set to tee up this week.
A few players have multiple exemptions, resulting in them making the list. The most well-known exemption is for former champions who are invited to the event for life.
Last year’s winner is John Rahm and he’ll be hoping to defend his crown, something only three other players have ever done.
