The biggest and best sporting event of the summer so far, the Paddy Power Golf Shootout, tees off this Friday at 12pm and it is guaranteed to be a pro-am like no other.
We’ve completely rewritten the rules of golf to come up with a fiendish event that will test our pros to the limit and hopefully possibly break our celebs.

Don’t know what we’re going on about?… Here’s what we’ve got planned
Star-studded? I thought Piers Morgan was playing? Well, yes, he is… but he’s not alone
It’s golf, but not as we know it: Check out the rules for the Paddy Power Golf Shootout.
Our fierce warriors will arrive at the Centurion Club in Hertfordshire at 10am and immediately head off to our government-approved Covid-19 testing process. Assuming they get the all-clear, they will then apply warpaint and mass-mute Piers in advance of the start of the challenges section.

The event is subject to a rigorous, government-approved Covid-19 testing process, with all participants – and skeleton production crew- tested before being permitted to attend.
We’ve devised eight devilish tasks for the first half of the day, including golf pong, the hardest shot in golf, the Happy Gilmore driving challenge, a shot at goal, closest to the pin, an Official Guinness World Records attempt and the fastest time to complete a hole task.
It could take a while for this rabble to complete the challenges so the shootout is set to start at 3.45pm with a winner crowned sometime after 5.45pm.
We signed @petercrouch as our Brand Ambassador, but he’s not been pulling his weight.
Time to get him on the golf course on Friday. Five pros, five celebs.

You won’t want to log-out then though, because we’ve got a cracking prize lined up for the winner in the socially-distanced awards ceremony at the end of the day’s play.
Make sure you don’t miss tee time and head over to Paddy Power’s YouTube or Twitter accounts to watch the madness unfold from 12pm.
Can’t make it? Don’t worry we’ll be running a live blog all day, right here on Paddy Power News.
