Premier League Tips: We’ve got a tasty 24/1 Bet Builder call for Sunday’s 2pm kickoffs

Oli Nixon has some tasty picks for Sunday.

Sunday is a day for betbuilders, and that’s how the saying goes, right?! With two Premier League games kicking off at 2pm, there are plenty of markets to get stuck into from both games for us to hopefully land a handsome betbuilder!

All five of Oli Nixon’s player picks are also covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, meaning if a player is replaced, the pick carries over to his substitute.

Sunday’s Premier League tips

Chelsea v Leicester City
Enzo Fernandez to be fouled 2+ times
Marc Cucurella to be fouled 2+ times

Tottenham v Bournemouth
Tyler Adams to commit 2+ fouls
Dean Huijsen to have 1+ shots
Djed Spence to have 1+ shots

Chelsea v Leicester – Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella to be fouled 2+ times each

Chelsea are the Premier League’s fourth most fouled team and since Ruud van Nistelrooy took over, Leicester have averaged 11.14 fouls per away game, so backing Chelsea players to get kicked is a natural place to head.

Enzo Fernandez has drawn 1.65 fouls per 90 this season and, in recent weeks, has been fouled at least twice in each of his last seven starts in all competitions.

In the reverse fixture, he was fouled twice. With him up against Ndidi, Buonanotte, and Soumare, who average 4.71 fouls between them per 90, there will be plenty of late challenges coming his way.

Full-back Cucurella has been fouled 1.17 times per 90 minutes; however, this is all about his direct opponent, Jordan Ayew. The Ghanaian has made 1.93 fouls per game this season, and although he didn’t play at home against Chelsea, the big-haired Spaniard was still fouled twice in that game.

Tottenham v Bournemouth – Tyler Adams to commit 2+ fouls, Dean Huijsen and Djed Spence to have 1+ shots each

Spurs are one of the three sides who are fouled more often than Chelsea, drawing 12.9 per game. James Maddison is their most fouled player, over three times a game, and Tyler Adams will be responsible for containing him.

Adams himself is no stranger to the referee’s attention. He has committed 1.93 fouls per 90 minutes this season, made five infringements, and was booked in the reverse fixture.

For all their efforts, Spurs still cannot defend set pieces, and across their last 12 matches in all competitions, they have allowed opposition centre backs to have 12 attempts at goal.

Dean Huijsen is Bournemouth’s biggest threat from set plays with an average of 0.66 shots per 90 and 2 goals this season. Last time out, he had five shots against Wolves, so he’s keen to add to his goal tally.

Djed Spence has been the beneficiary of Ange Postecoglou’s extensive injury list, nailing down a starting place at full back.

The Aussie likes his full backs to get forward, as evidenced by Pedro Porro’s average of 1.44 shots per 90 and Spence has recently adopted a similar approach with a shot in four of his last five appearances.

One of those shots found the back of the net against Ipswich, so hopefully, he’s got a taste for goals and can land the final leg of our bet builder.
