Blackburn v Bristol City

Ewood Park, 7:45pm (Sky Sports Football Red Button)

Blackburn to Win

Blackburn have been on the wrong end of two losses of late, surprisingly losing 3-1 away to Sheffield Wednesday before losing 0-2 at home to Leeds on Saturday last. Their home Championship form isn’t the best with two wins and three losses but they did manage to score six goals over those five games.

Bristol Rovers have either lost or drawn in all five of their most recent away games and have only won one of their last five overall fixtures. They’ve only managed to score in two of their last five on their travels so that means we have to back the hosts to take the three points.

Huddersfield v Preston

John Smith’s Stadium, 7:45pm (Sky Sports Football Red Button)

Draw

Huddersfield are just two points above the dropzone but have been tough to beat of late, winning one, drawing three and losing one of their last five, while at the John Smith share the same results.

Preston’s good start to the season is long gone and they’ve won just one of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing three. Away from home they share the same results but we’re looking at some tasty odds for the draw here because the hosts just cannot seem to get games over the line. Both sides are conceding plenty of late and we can certainly see this one ending 1-1 or 2-2.

      Rotherham v West Brom

New York Stadium, 7:45pm (Sky Sports Football Red Button)

      Both Teams to Score

Rotherham have failed to win any of their last eight in the league and are now bottom of the league standings. Their home form has seen them winning one, drawing three and losing one, scoring seven and conceding six.

West Brom have won two and lost three of late, sharing the same results on their league excursions. They’ve scored six over those five away games, conceding seven and with the hosts conceding in all but one of their home Championship games this season we should yet again see Both Teams to Score landing at the New York.

      Watford v Ipswich

Vicarage Road, 7:45pm (Sky Sports Arena)

      Both Teams to Score

Both sides come into this clash in good shape. Watford have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five in the league while on home soil have won three and drawn two, scoring 12 goals.

Ipswich have won four and lost one of late and have won two, drawn two and lost one on their recent travels, scoring seven so Both Teams to Score has some decent value here.

        Over 2.5 Goals

We should also see at least a third goal. As mentioned above the sides have scored 12 and seven over their recent home/away games and have conceded five and six respectively over those fixtures. With Overs landing in five of the Hornets’ last seven at Vicarage Road we’re likely to see at least three goals come full time.

        Sunderland v Leeds

Stadium Light, 8pm (Sky Sports Football)

        Both Teams to Score

Both Teams to Score has landed in four of both side’s last five Championship games. The hosts have won three and lost two over their last five at home, scoring nine and conceding nine.

For Leeds they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one over their recent league jaunts, scoring seven and conceding four. With those goal-scoring records we’re going with the value in the Both Teams to Score market.
