Norwich and Blackburn are gearing up for a heavyweight clash in The Championship on Saturday evening with the Canaries sitting 4th and their visitors one spot and one point higher in 3rd. Norwich had gone through a little wobble before the World Cup but bounced back after the international break with a win last weekend.
Rovers might be heading for choppy waters themselves and have now lost three, drawn one and won one of their last five in all competitions. The key thing in this game, coupled with that poor recent form, is that Blackburn are shoddy on the road. While they boast the second-best home record, they have the 6th-worse away haul in the division.
Norwich’s home form is good enough for a playoff spot so that, added to both side’s recent form, means we need to be on The Canaries and we can add a little value by ticking Norwich (-1) in the handicaps. Dean Smith’s side don’t normally win by more than one goal but Blackburn have lost by three goals in their last two so it might be worth chancing our arm on a big home win.
Over 2.5 Goals
A big home win that should see Over 2.5 Goals if recent numbers are anything to go by. Norwich have had overs in three of their last five games with both teams scoring in the same number. Blackburn’s goals per game numbers have gone mad in their last three but mainly because their defence has gone AWOL.
They’ve seen four, three and five goals in their last three but have only scored three of those themselves. It’s clear where their problems currently lie and they last thing they want is to face the league’s 5th-highest scorers. Either way we should see a few goals and Over 2.5 Goals should be a good play.

Teemu Pukki to Score Anytime
Teemu Pukki has been Norwich’s talisman for a few years but he’s struggled to hit previous heights this term. He’s scored just seven goals in 22 appearances so far but he did get the only goal of the game last weekend in their crucial 1-0 win at Swansea.
Josh Sargent is The Canaries’ top scorer on seven for the season but he might not feature after picking up an injury representing USA at the World Cup. It means Pukki should be nailed on to start again and will be the focal point. It’s all pointing towards a Pukki Anytime Goal.

Ben Brereton to Score or Assist
Blackburn have relied on their Chile international Ben Brereton a lot this season and he’s been their best attacking asset by a mile. He’s scored 10 and set up another two in 24 appearances this term – that’s a direct goal involvement every other game.
He’s been a little quite of late and that’s probably had a big impact on Rovers’ poor output in the attacking third. However, he’s their most reliable man so if Blackburn are to rediscover their mojo and trouble the Canaries then it’s got to be Brereton Diaz to Score or Assist.
