Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson is back on our team sheet to take a look at Sunday’s action in the Premier League. West Ham v Leeds gets the treatment here in the day’s first televised game.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS
The Hammers look to be getting back to their best while Leeds are still struggling with injuries. It looks, on paper, to be a fairly one-sided affair but will it play out that way? Here’s Thommo’s West Ham v Leeds tips.
Sunday 2pm: West Ham v Leeds
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
I think this is quite straightforward. Normally I think if Leeds were at home, because of their FA Cup defeat against West Ham, you might have been fancying them to get some revenge.
Leeds have been a bit flaky and they’ve got loads of Covid, loads of injuries. I can only see this going one way. West Ham have come out of their slump a little bit. They’ve won their last three games, West Ham.
That was after winning just one of the previous seven so they seem like they’ve turned it around quite quickly, David Moyes’ boys. So, I’m going for West Ham to Win this one and to Win to Nil, I don’t fancy Leeds to Score.
I’ll also go for Jarrod Bowen to Score Anytime. He’s in fine form at the moment.
