Football Accumulator tips: Our 20/1 four-fold for Tuesday night’s action

Tuesday night’s football has plenty for us to ponder. Fulham need to put the brakes on their slide down the Championship table and face a Reading side desperate for three points to claw their way out of a relegation dogfight.

We’ll also be looking at relegation-threatened Cagliari taking on Bologna in Serie A and one of the biggest grudge matches in English football where MK Dons take on Wimbledon at home. Kicking us off first though is the Premier League clash between Southampton and Brentford. Let’s find some value bets!

7.45pm: Southampton vs Brentford: Both Teams To Score (YES)

Southampton needed a late Shane Long goal in Extra Time to beat Swansea away from home in their FA Cup fixture on Saturday. The Saints have only won one of their last five in all competitions, drawing three (including the above) and losing one, scoring nine and conceding 10. They’re a tough side to beat at home and are unbeaten over their last six at St Mary’s in the Premier League, however, they’ve only won two of those games, drawing four, scoring eight and conceding six over those six games.

Brentford have won two of their last five in all competitions, losing three. Their away league form isn’t the best, winning none of their last five in the Premier League, drawing two and losing three, scoring six and conceding 12. Both Teams to Score has landed in four of the host’s last five at home and in three of the Bees’ last five as well and with both teams scoring plenty of late we should see that trend persisting.

7.45pm: MK Dons vs Wimbledon: MK Dons to Win

There’s no love lost between the sides, and the hosts will be hoping to keep their rivals pointless and down just above the League One relegation zone. Neither side are in tiptop shape though. MK have won just one of their last five in all competitions, drawing two and losing two. On their own patch they share the same record, scoring seven and conceding four.

Wimbledon have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five fixtures in all competitions. On their recent League One away trips they’ve won just one of their last five, drawing one and losing three, scoring five and conceding nine.

Over the last six meetings, MK Dons have won three and three ended level (MK winning one on penalties). There’s always needle in this one but with the away side in such bad away form and Milton Keynes having the share of the recent head to head games we have to go with the home team.

7.45pm: Cagliari vs Bologna: BTTS, No Draw

Cagliari got a rare Serie A win last week beating Sampdoria 1-2 away from home. Their recent league form has seen them win just one, draw one and lose three and they face a tough task if they’re to survive relegation this season. At home their form is worse, drawing two and losing three of their last five, scoring four and conceding 10.

Bologna have won two of their last five in the league, losing the other three. Looking at their away games only, they’re in better shape, winning three of their last five, losing the other two, scoring seven and conceding six. As you can see then both teams are scoring a decent amount and are conceding plenty too. The hosts are averaging 1.20 per home league game while the away side are hitting the net 1.22 times on average. With only two draws over their last 10 combined matches though we can squeeze some extra value out of a BTTS bet here and go with BTTS, No Draw for some very decent odds.

8pm: Reading vs Fulham: Exactly 1 First Half Goal

Fulham were leading the Championship until not too long ago but haven’t actually won a league game since late November. The Cottagers have drawn four of their last five in the league, losing one. Their away form has been good though, drawing two and winning three of their last five.

Reading have only won one of their last five, drawing two and losing two, the last of which was a rather embarrassing 2-1 away loss to Kidderminster in the FA Cup. Their league form shares the same record of results and at the Madejski Stadium it’s even worse where they’ve drawn three and lost two, scoring four and conceding seven.

Something that jumped out at us here, there has been one First Half goal in four of Reading’s last five at home and three of Fulham’s last five away and their last three overall league games and a bet we found to match those stats; Exactly 1 First Half Goal offers some great value.
