A self-proclaimed “football mad” couple who became parents to triplets earlier this week have confirmed the three children will be named It’s, Coming and Home, as a tribute to the popular England anthem.
Having attracted attention from national media over the unconventional but extremely relevant names, Paddy Power News managed to grab a word with the overjoyed 31-year-old mother, who was delighted to be given the chance to merge her two biggest loves; football and family.

“It’s, Coming and Home are three words that strike such an emotive tone with everybody in the country.
“My husband and I both got those words tattooed on us in 2018, so as names, we passionately believe they are perfect for our little boys,” said World, who happens to be a triplet herself.
“I was one of three girls. My sisters are called In and Motion. Our Dad was a big football fan, and we were born in 1990, so you can see where my inspiration comes from.
“We did consider naming the babies Vin, Da and Loo – but after speaking to our eldest child, Bucket, we thought that might be a bit silly.
“There’s nothing more important in the world than family and football, so I’m giving to my boys what my dad gave to me and my sisters, and one day I hope that they are able to give the same gift to their children.”
The song, that’s officially titled Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home), which dons those notorious lyrics “It’s Coming Home”, is reported to be on course to be the biggest selling record of 2021, as it was in 2018, 2016, 2014, 2012, 2010, 2006, 2004, 2002, 2000, 1998 and 1996.
Music streaming giant, Spotify, has confirmed it is so far responsible for 96.8% of UK streams since May, with former high street record store HMV considering reopening fifteen branches in major cities just to sell vinyl, CDs, tapes and memorabilia of the song.
Paddy Power News reached out to co-writers David Baddiel and Frank Skinner to find out how they feel about the resurgence of the record they recorded over 25 years ago, however both were unavailable for comment, as they are currently sailing to Monaco on their matching yachts paid for with royalties from the song.
