Paddy’s ambassador Phil Thompson looks ahead to some selected games on Sunday afternoon. First up it’s Newcastle v Spurs at 14:05 followed by Aston Villa v Fulham at 16:30, both live on TV.
Thommo’s Sunday Treble
14:05 – Newcastle v Spurs
This should be a Spurs win here. They’ve won four out of their last five in the Premier League. Harry Kane has been involved in an unbelievable number of Spurs goals this season. Newcastle have lost five out of the last six against Spurs at home, not a great record.
Sunday 14:05 – Newcastle v Spurs
Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
Each of Newcastle’s last six home games have involved both teams scoring, so expect the same on Sunday.
THOMMO’S TIPS: I’m going for both teams to score here. A spurs win, and Harry Kane to find the net in this one.
16:30 – Aston Villa v Fulham
Fulham have only won one out of their last 17 away to Aston Villa which ultimately doesn’t bode well for them here. They are unbeaten in their last eight away Premier League games however. They are showing something to try and stay afloat.
Sunday 16:30 – Aston Villa v Fulham
Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
However I am expecting Villa to take all three points here. Jack Grealish is sure to have a serious impact on this game for me. He is supposed to be fit and ready to play, so that will make a huge difference for me, assuming he does start.
THOMMO’S TIPS: Once again, both teams can score here. I also reckon Ollie Watkins can strike in this one for the home side.
