The lead Liverpool secured from the first leg will be absolutely crucial against RB Leipzig. If they throw that lead away and don’t get through to the next round, it’s crisis time at Anfield. I fancy both teams to score on Wednesday night. Look at the two defensive mistakes that Leipzig made in the first leg. If they do anything like that again, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane will punish them.

It’s also worth noting that Leipzig were unlucky not to score themselves, they created a couple of good chances. They hit the post after five minutes of the first leg and it could have been a different story if that went in. Given that Leipzig have to attack due to Liverpool’s advantage, I expect a couple of goals here.

Mo Salah to Score Anytime

I’m also going for Mo Salah to score and my reason for that is he’s simply world-class. When he scored in the first leg, it was his 24th goal of the season already. He’s almost like Lionel Messi in the fact that he doesn’t get the full credit he deserves because he always performs. The tally he’s put up this season is phenomenal.

It’s not my strongest fancy of the season but if Leipzig make any defensive mistakes, he will capitalise and add to his record this season.
