Wednesday night looks like it’s going to be a belter in the Champions League with Porto taking on Juventus at home and Sevilla hosting Borussia Dortmund. Of the four teams, Juventus and Sevilla are in the better form and they’ll be keen to continue their streaks here.
However, their opponents are more than capable of taking on anyone on their day and will be hopeful of causing an upset. More importantly though, where is the value in the market? Let’s have a look at what we’ve dug up.

Porto vs Juventus: Both Teams to Score
These two sides met at the same stage of the competitions back in 2017. Juventus were eventual 0-3 winners on aggregate over both of those matches and while a decent amount of the Juventus squad is the same, it cannot be said for Porto.
The Portuguese side had been having a mighty season until a few weeks ago, over their last nine matches in all competitions they’ve only won three, losing one and drawing five. They’re finding it very difficult to kill off matches and coming up against a team who know precisely when to kill off opponents they could be in for a long night at the office here.
Wednesday 8pm: Porto v Juventus
BT Sport 2
Juve have won 10 of their last 15 in all competitions, losing three and drawing two. Both teams have strong Champions League form though, Porto only lost one of their six group matches, winning four, drawing one and losing one while Juve won five and lost one.
There are decent odds here for Both Teams to Score. Porto have been averaging 2.30 and conceding 1.10 at home in the league this season and scored at least one in eight of their last nine home Champions League matches. Juventus are averaging 1.91 goals and conceding 1.0 goals on their Serie A travels this season and over their last nine away CL matches scored at least one in seven of them. We’d like to give it to Juve here but we all know they don’t mind taking a draw back to Italy and Porto’s fondness for draws is putting us off too. The value here is with BTTS.

Sevilla vs Borussia Dortmund: BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals
Sevilla are on a great run, they’ve won all eight of their most recent matches and have won seven and drawn one of their last eight at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Dortmund are not in the best of shape, they’ve only won one of their last five matches in all competitions, drawing two (winning one in ET) and losing two.
The Spanish side are favourites here but the market has so far been unwilling to back them into short odds – understandable when they face a side with Erling Haaland in it. The Norwegian has six goals to his name over his last eight matches for the German side. He had six over his six Group Stage matches as well.
Wednesday 8pm: Sevilla v Borussia Dortmund
BT Sport 3
Sevilla are absolute masters at keeping clean sheets at home in the league but in the Group Stage kept just two over their six matches. Over 2.5 goals has been seen in four of their last six home matches and in seven out of eight away Dortmund matches.
Both sides are in good goal-scoring form and while Sevilla could edge it on form, we prefer to go with goals here. Overs looks good with those stats but we can improve the odds by adding BTTS in there as well.
Wednesday tips summary:
Porto vs Juventus: Both Teams to Score
Sevilla vs Borussia Dortmund: BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals
Both of these picks in a double with Paddy Power will give you odds of around 3/1.
