The biggest football game on the planet is nearly upon us. No, not Burnley vs Brighton – not even Manchester United v Everton. That’s right, it’s Super Bowl weekend in the good old US of A, baby.
On Sunday night Super Bowl LV (or 55 for those not up on their Roman numerals) gets underway with as much of the usual razzmatazz that goes with it as possible in the middle of a global pandemic. This year sees a fascinating match up as the GOAT Tom Brady and his new Tampa Bay Buccaneers team go up against the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs and their phenomenal future Hall of Famer QB Patrick Mahomes.
So, why are we interested in this – other than it being one of the biggest sporting events of the year, of course? Well, of course Tampa Bay’s owners, the Glazer family, also own Manchester United. No doubt the Red Devils’ legion of fans will be throwing their full support behind their beloved owners’ other team and the universally-popular Brady.
No? Well, even if you don’t want the Bucs to win, there’s a good chance it will happen with six-time Super Bowl winner Brady at the helm. And to celebrate what could be a momentous weekend for the Glazers, we’ve priced up a Glazer double – or should that be double Glazer? – of The Bucs and United both to win this weekend.
We’ll overlook the fact that not a single member of the billionaire family will know – or care – that United are hosting Everton this weekend.
Well, United fans, we care and we’ve rustled up a lovely Power Price for a Glazer double if you’re up for a weekend of football… and soccer. While United are the big favourites to triumph over Everton, the same can’t be said for Tampa Bay but, with Brady at the helm, anything is possible.
