Brazil legend Pele has reclaimed second place in the all-time top goalscorer charts after bagging a hat-trick during a kickabout with his grandkids.
The 80-year-old was in scintillating form putting three goals past a disinterested infant stood between two jumpers used as makeshift goalposts.
Pele’s goals see him leapfrog Cristiano Ronaldo who temporarily moved ahead of the Brazilian after scoring a brace during Juve’s 4-1 win against Udinese.
Ronaldo hit goals No 757 and 758 to equal and then move past Pele last night.
However, the Portuguese’s joy was short-lived when former Santos striker Pele organised an impromptu kickabout in his back garden.
The three-time World Cup winner rolled back the years with a virtuoso display and capped the performance with a devastating hat-trick.
Footage emerged on YouTube this morning which showed the former New York Cosmos star flicking the ball over a small girl’s head before dispatching it past a hapless toddler courtesy of an acrobatic bicycle kick.
Discussing the magnificent achievement with Paddy Power News, a jubilant Pele said:
‘Cristiano has proven himself to be a worthy adversary but I hope this hat-trick proves there is life in the old dog yet’.
Cristiano Ronaldo with a great opener for Juve! 👏

‘At 80-years-old I believe my best years are still ahead of me and I have a lot to offer the game’.
Meanwhile, the 92-cap Brazilian also refutes claims he scored only 757 times during his career.
‘Last time I counted, I was on 3,927 goals’.
When asked if he could break that tally down for us, Pele replied:
‘That’s 1,091 goals for Santos. 77 for Brazil. 64 for Cosmos. 2,235 in training. 456 in Subbuteo. Those 3 goals in the back garden and that overhead kick in Escape to Victory’.
In other news, Harry Kane has lodged an appeal with the dubious goals panel claiming he got the final touch on Pele’s third goal during the kickabout this morning.
‘The replays clearly show the ball’s come off me chin’, slobbered Kane.
