Wilfried Zaha Next Club Odds: Price on Everton move tumbles after punters pile in

Will Wilf finally move?

Paddy Power have been forced to slash the odds on Wilfried Zaha leaving Crystal Palace for Everton after a flurry of bets overnight.

The Ivory Coast forward was 6/1 to swap Selhurst Park for Goodison Park on Wednesday but those odds have crumbled after a number of bets flew in last night. The move puts Carlo Ancelotti’s team as our clear favourites to sign Zaha before the summer window closes in October.

Zaha has been the most important Palace player by some distance over the last few seasons and he will not come cheap if the Toffees are to get it done. The Eagles are said to be preparing for Zaha’s departure with a move for Jeremie Boga of Sassuolo.

With Everton now our favourites, Arsenal have been pushed out as the second-most likely move for the former Manchester United winger.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain are third-most likely and they could have a spot for the 27-year-old in their squad with Julian Draxler potentially leaving this summer.

Tottenham are another club that have been heavily linked with Zaha in the past and their interest won’t go away. They’re behind PSG in the race, possibly because of the sums required to get this deal done and how reluctant they’ve generally been to spend.

Newcastle are next in the list but you’d think they would have needed the takeover to get it done while a sensational return to Manchester United is next-most likely and could happen if they can’t get Jadon Sancho.

At the time of writing Leeds and Leicester are the same price as United while West Ham and Wolves are longer odds going on towards rank outsiders.
