Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson is back to preview the return – finally! – of the Premier League. After an international break and the FA Cup took centre stage in recent weeks, we’re back to domestic action this midweek.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
And what better way to celebrate that by getting our man Thommo to serve up a top trio of tips for all of Tuesday’s matches. Phil’s picked his punts for a tasty treble and you can add the selections to your Betslip below.
THOMMO: There’s only three games to chose from on Tuesday – so that makes my job a bit easier!
Burnley have won just one of their last 22 Premier League games, and no win in their last nine. Throw in Chris Wood joining Newcastle and it’s been a really difficult time. You worry that their time is up. United were poor against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup but did beat West Ham last time out in the Premier League.
Manchester United to win at Burnley is the first leg of my treble.
Newcastle are a little similar to Chelsea after their transfer ban. They’ve signed a lot of players, but will they be able to integrate them?
They’ve made some good signings, some average ones. It does give them a better chance than before.
Everton have lost 11 of their last 20 Premier League games so need that ‘new manager bounce’ to continue. That training ground will be a far happier place.
Newcastle had a good result last time out beating Leeds 1-0 but they still only had 37% possession, and I fancy Everton to build on that win over Everton.
Everton to win at Newcastle is the second leg of my treble.

And finally, in the other game of the night, I fancy West Ham to beat a struggling Watford side at the London Stadium.
West Ham to beat Watford is the third leg of my treble.
So, there you have it. For my Tuesday night Premier League treble I fancy West Ham to beat Watford at home, and then two away winners – Manchester United and Aston Villa.
