It’s rare enough that we’d get some exciting European football on a Monday night, but kicking off the week we have some very exciting encounters from Italy, Portugal and Spain.
Martimo face the might of Porto, Juventus can get back into the title race with a win over Crotone and Sevilla can keep up the pace with Barcelona with an away win against Osasuna. Let’s have a look then for some value bets.

19:00 Martimo v Porto: Porto to Win to Nil
Porto surprised Europe midweek when they beat Italian champions Juventus 2-1, they’d been on a run of four draws in-a-row but were the better side against Juventus and really should have killed the game off with a couple more goals. They’ve fallen out of the title race thanks to drawing too many games this season, but they can’t give up yet and must take all three points here.
The whole bottom half of the Primeira Liga table are within five points of each other, however it’s looking bad for Martimo. They’ve lost all six of their most recent matches in all competitions. Looking at their home league form, they’ve won just one of their last five there, drawing one and losing three.
The Estadio dos Barreiros has been a tough place to visit for Porto over previous seasons though, they’ve only won two of their last five visits there – the other three ended in draws. The home side have failed to score in three of their last four home league matches and Porto have kept three clean sheets over their five most recent league matches.
19:45 Juventus v Crotone: Juventus to Win & Both Teams To Score
Juventus have lost both of their last two matches and that’s enough to cause a crisis around Turin. They can get back to winning ways against Serie A’s bottom club here though. Crotone are pretty much doomed and haven’t won a single away Serie A match so far this season.
Their record stands at two draws and nine losses with nine goals scored and a mammoth 30 conceded. Manager Andrea Pirlo will probably freshen up his side a bit, but he can’t tinker with it too much as they need the win here to get back into the top four.
We should see a few goals here. Overs has landed in three out of Juve’s five most recent home matches and in all five of Crotone’s on the road, they’ve been scoring a few as well. Crotone have scored at least one in seven of their 11 away matches and Juventus have only kept four clean sheets from their 10 home league matches this season.
20:00 Osasuna v Sevilla: Both Teams To Score
Osasuna’s form has improved of late, and they’ve only lost one of their last five La Liga matches. Over their five most recent at home they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one. Sevilla were in great form until that Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund midweek, winning all five of their most recent league encounters. Away from home, they’ve won two, drawn one and lost one of their five most recent league games.
There’s been a few decent matches between the pair over the last few seasons here, with Both Teams To Score landing in four out of the last five matches and Over 2.5 goals occurring in three. Both Teams To Score has landed in seven of Osasuna’s 11 home La Liga matches this season, and with them finding some good form of late we’re going with the value odds on BTTS here – particularly as Sevilla have only been kept scoreless in two of their last 11 away matches.
