For our value-busting five-fold Acca this Saturday we’re looking at top of the table clashes in Scotland, Italy, France and Spain and we’ll also be focusing on a Bundesliga match where the new upstarts Union Berlin can put yet another nail into Schalke’s relegation coffin. Let’s have a look for some value in the markets.

3pm: Rangers vs Kilmarnock – Rangers to Win to Nil

Rangers are, of course, massive favourites to win here and face a Kilmarnock side who have lost all six of their most recent matches. Over the last decade, 15 visits in all competitions, Kilmarnock have won just two of those matches, Rangers have won nine.

It can be tough enough to find value when one team is such a heavy favourite and seems to be nailed on to win. The Handicap can be good here but Rangers have a habit of not covering them much and love to take an Italian-approach and win 1- and 2-0. Indeed they’ve conceded just one Premiership goal at home this season and Kilmarnock have scored just nine over their 14 away league matches. The value here is in backing Rangers to Win to Nil.

5pm: Napoli vs Juventus – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

Juventus are really gaining ground on the top two of Milan and Inter. At the time of writing they’re five points behind Inter in second with a game in hand. Napoli are currently in the last European place on 37 points. A win here for the home side would put them just a place behind Juventus. Plenty to play for then for both teams here.

Looking at the last five meetings between the sides at the Diego Maradona Stadium, both have won two each and one ended level. Four saw Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 goals occurring. You’d expect goals here again then. Overs has landed in three out of five previous home Napoli and away Juventus games and both are scoring 2.70 and 2.10 goals respectively in their home/away matches. We’re getting a very good price with BTTS & Over 2.5 goals here.

5.30pm: Union Berlin vs Schalke – Union to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Union will need results to go their way with other teams but they can potentially leap above Borussia Dortmund in sixth with a win here. And there are very few out there who can see this Schalke side stopping them from taking the three points. You’d feel sorry for Schalke if they weren’t so awful. One win in 20 Bundesliga matches, five draws and 14 losses.

Union are in bad form though, they’ve won just one in their last five in the Bundesliga but at home they can take some motivation from the fact that they’ve lost just one of their last 10 on home soil with four wins and five draws. They do usually concede a goal though, BTTS has landed in seven of their 10 home Bundesliga matches and for all Schalke’s woes they’ve been scoring on the road of late. Some good value to be had in backing Union to Win and Over 2.5 Goals here.

8pm: Lyon vs Montpellier – Lyon to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Lyon are on a great run of form, they’ve lost just one of their last 15 matches in all competitions and are just two points behind Lille at the top of Ligue 1. Montpellier’s form has improved of late, they’d been on a run of eight without a win but have drawn one and won two since that run ended. Lyon are scoring loads too, averaging 2.25 per match, conceding 0.83 while Montpellier are averaging 1.36 and conceding 1.55. Lyon are huge favourites here but with those scoring records we can squeeze some better value out of the match. The best bet here is Lyon to Win and Over 2.5 Goals.

8pm: Barcelona vs Alaves – Both Teams to Score

Like the Lyon and Rangers games above the home side are huge favourites here. Alaves though will come into the game knowing the home side are missing plenty of first team players here but their top scorers, Lionel Messi and Antoine Greizmann are both set to play.

Barcelona’s home scoring record is obviously going to be good, it’s currently 2.30 per match but they’re conceding 1.10 and Alaves are averaging almost a goal a game at 0.90. With so many players missing they’ll fancy their chances of grabbing at least one here and they’ve scored in six out of seven previous visits to the Nou Camp. Both Teams to Score is our pick here.
