Lampard changes LinkedIn status to ‘Open to Work’ after Chelsea hammering

Lampard in?

Frank Lampard has changed his LinkedIn status to ‘Open to Work’ following Chelsea’s 5-0 mauling at the hands of Arsenal last night.

The 45-year-old activated the feature to let his former employers know he would be willing to return for a third stint in the Stamford Bridge hotseat – should they part ways with current boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The under-fire Argentine urged his players to show they were not a one-man team shortly before a game which confirmed they are a one-man team.

In a post on the social media platform, Lampard wrote:

‘Hi everyone – I am looking for my old job back and would appreciate your support. Thank you in advance for any connections, advice, and sacking Poch (fingers crossed lolz) #OpenToWorkUnderToddBoehlyAgain

Lampard also included his most important skills, accomplishments, and qualifications in a bid to land the role Chelsea have already deemed him not good enough for twice.

‘I don’t see myself as having any weaknesses. I’m a bit of a perfectionist actually’.

‘My ability to spot a player’s potential is renowned throughout the game. I brought Kai Havertz to Chelsea and what a signing for Arsenal he’s been’.

‘Manchester United’s Mason Mount is another one I’ve got my eye on. Wow. What a player.

‘I like my full-backs to overlap, my wide forwards to come inside and my attacks started by a creative midfielder. Someone in the mould of, oh I dunno, a Mason Mount?’

‘I’d also regard myself as a disciplinarian and like to implement a fine system to keep the players in check. For example:

‘Phone ringing during team meal or meeting – £1000

‘Late report time for training – £2,500

‘Refusing to acknowledge Mason Mount as the greatest footballer of all time – a year’s salary.

‘All in all, I believe I am the ideal candidate to restore Chelsea to their former glories’.

‘No but seriously, they should’ve given it to Nagelsmann when they had the chance’.
