It’s the major trophy that continues to elude Manchester City but Pep Guardiola’s all-star team head the betting ahead of their latest crack at the Champions League. The addition of part-man, part-machine Erling Haaland has added an extra dimension to their attack and an unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign has consolidated hopes of a successful campaign at home and in Europe. They meet Copenhagen, Dortmund and Sevilla in Group G.

The continent’s premier club competition could well be heading to different Middle Eastern backers as Qatar-owned Paris SaintGermain are next in our betting. They are in Group A with Ajax, Napoli and Rangers.

Bayern Munich crashed out in the quarter-finals last term and lost their main marksman, Robert Lewandowski, to Barcelona in the summer. Sadio Mane and Matthijs de Ligt were their big summer additions as Julian Nagelsmann bids to leave the Bavarians to their seventh European title. They have been drawn in Group C with Barcelona, Inter Milan and Plzen.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Tottenham and Chelsea are also prominent in Paddy’s Outright Winner 2022/23 odds. You can check out our range of Champions League betting markets including the Top Goalscorer 2022/23 – headed by a certain Erling Haaland – on paddypower.com.
