12:40 Jose De Sousa v Alan Soutar: De Sousa To Have The Most 180s, High Checkout And Win The Match
Jose De Sousa’s form has been up and down at the end of this year, but there were some positive signs in his first round game and I believe The Special One can continue with a comfortable win here. The Portuguese arrower was put under pressure by Jason Lowe, but responded well to take a 3-2 win in sets.
Alan Soutar, on the other hand, was fortunate to beat Mensur Suljović as the Austrian missing many chances to win. I believe the big hitting de Sousa should win, hit the most 180s and have the high checkout in this contest. It really does look like a smart play here.

15:30 Nathan Aspinall v Callan Rydz: Rydz To Win
Callan Rydz averaged 102 in the second round while completing a 3-0 win over Brendan Dolan in what was one of the best performances of the tournament so far. He has emerged as one of the most promising young players on the PDC Tour this year and he can continue his rise through the game here. Nathan Aspinall had a comfortable win in the second round, but he is being bothered by injury. This could tip the scales in Rydz favour, especially if the game goes long as expected.

19:00 Gary Anderson v Ian White: Anderson (-1.5) Sets
Gary Anderson did what he needed to do to get the win after losing the first set against Adrian Lewis in the opening round and he can continue his run here with a win over Ian White. White has never played his best stuff on the big stage and had four second round losses in-a-row at Ally Pally before beating Chris Landman this year. Anderson, on the flip side, always produces at the Palace and the price available on The Flying Scotsman to win by 2 or more sets here looks tempting.
20:45 Gerwyn Price v Dirk van Duijvenbode: High Checkout And Win The Match
The world champion had a pretty up-and-down game again Kim Huybrechts in the third round, but he again showed the ability to dig out a result when not playing at his best. I believe he can do something similar against Dirk van Duijvenbode. I also fancy him to get the highest checkout to boost the price. Price has had seven 100+ checkouts in the tournament to only the one from Van Duijvenbode, who has struggled to hit his doubles.
