12.30pm: Steve Lennon v Mervyn King – Lennon to Win
Steve Lennon has had a great tournament so far and I think it can continue here against Mervyn King. Lennon has shown good form to beat Madars Razma and No.12 seed Krzysztof Ratajski and a repeat of that form gives him a good chance here. King had to come back from two down to beat Ryan Joyce and another slow start will give the Irishman a chance to pounce and Win.
2pm: Ryan Searle v Danny Noppert – Searle (-1.5)
Here we have two of the big improvers on tour this year as Ryan Searle and Danny Noppert clash in an intriguing last 32 game. Searle was the recent Players Championship finalist and took a comfortable win in his opening round clash with William Borland. Noppert was also comfortable having lost the first set against Jason Heaver in his opening game.
I think Searle (-1.5) looks the play here. Noppert is consistent but often struggles to compete with the top players and Searle has shown recently that he deserves to be considered in this bracket. The price for him to win by 2 or more sets looks tempting.

7pm: Rob Cross v Daryl Gurney – Both to hit 8 or more 180s
Rob Cross and Daryl Gurney were in good 180 hitting form with Cross hitting 7 and Gurney hitting 6 in just 4 sets each in their opening game. The format gets longer now and with both players in good form around the Treble 20 both to hit 8 or more 180s looks a good price. It’s likely to be a tight game with plenty of legs so both players should have plenty of opportunities to hit the maximum.
10pm: Michael van Gerwen v Chris Dobey – Dobey to Win
The draw hasn’t been kind to Michael van Gerwen here with Chris Dobey a very dangerous opponent to be facing this early in the tournament. Dobey had the 5th highest average on the tour this year and has reached the last 16 twice here before. He can put Van Gerwen under pressure here and the former World Champion has not dealt well with that on the tour this year. It looks a big price there for Hollywood to pull off the shock of the round.
