Some of the biggest names in tennis are heading to New York for the US Open which starts on August 31st 2020. Novak Djokovic is the big favourite for the men’s title as he looks to land another Grand Slam without the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal who are injured and focusing on the French Open respectively.
Serena Williams is, as you might expect, the big favourite in the ladies’ tournament ahead of Naomi Osaka and Karolina Pliskova.
This tournament could signal a big changing of the guard on the men’s ATP Tour, and you can watch the whole thing completely FREE on Paddy’s app or through PP.com. To get involved all you have to do is sign up or log in and choose the match you want to watch.
You’ll get top-class coverage – just live we’ve been offering on all UK and Irish racing since the start of June. You don’t even have to place a bet to watch. Are we sure this is right? Seems too good to be true.
With Djokovic turning 33 in the spring, and with Federer and Nadal not playing here, we are expecting to see the continued development of some of the up and coming stars on the scene.
Beaten Aussie Open finalist Dominic Thiem will be hoping to go one better against the Serbian after his loss in their epic final at the start of the year. He’s in the other side of the draw to Djokovic and may have to get past Alexander Zverev, the winner of the ATP Finals in 2018 to face the world No.1 in a Grand Slam final again.
Andy Murray is a long shot for glory as he continues his long road back to the top after persistent pelvic problems and you’ll be able to see every one of his matches completely free as he looks to write the comeback story of the year.
