Paddy Power Poker: Play our Legends of Football Tournament tonight!

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday evening

Poker is a game of skill, luck and nerve. Is it any wonder ex-pro footballers love it so much?

Well, you can test yourself against a few of them this Sunday at 8pm as a collection of ‘legends’ take part in a very special game of online poker thanks to Paddy.

Yep, you heard it right – Paul Ince, Teddy Sheringham, Ray Parlour, Wes Brown, Stephen Hunt, John O’Shea, Charlie Adam, Michael Ball, Darren Fletcher, Norman Whiteside, Peter Lovenkrands and Alan Brazil – some legendary names from across the years have all signed up to try to take home the cash in a No-Limit game of Texas Holdem  – and you can too.

‘How do I get involved?’, I hear you say. Well, it’s piss easy. The buy-in is €11 and anyone can enter. Yes, anyone.

And, if that’s not enough for you we are going to make it more interesting. Not only would it give you serious bragging rights to say you knocked out Paul Ince (or any of the other ‘legends’), we’ve also put a €100 bounty on each of their heads so if you knock one (or more) out, and don’t win the tournament, you still walk away with enough cash for at least five Deliveroos.

Oh, and one more bonus: we’ve added €1,000 to the prize pool. I mean, come on. What more could you want?

Last month’s game was a huge success. Paul Ince ended up in the money by finishing 14th, so he’s the one to take out this time, while Teddy Sheringham’s previous poker experience didn’t count for much as he finished 133rd!
