Next UK Prime Minister odds: Who will replace Rishi Sunak as PM?

Who takes over from Rishi?

A new UK Prime Minister could be set to walk through the doors of 10 Downing Street after the General Election on Thursday, July 4.

Despite dire polling scores and approval ratings, Conservative leader Rishi Sunak, the current PM, called the early summer poll in a major gamble over his political future.

A change of top dog is on the cards because Labour are the odds-on favourites to win a majority in the House of Commons and the Tories are facing electoral meltdown.

The latest Next UK Prime Minister odds are on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, details of the leading contenders can be found below.

Rishi Sunak

Next UK Prime Minister after Rishi Sunak odds

Labour leader Keir Starmer is the red-hot favourite with Paddy Power to be the Next Prime Minister of the UK after Rishi Sunak as the latest opinion polls suggest his party are set to win a massive majority.

It would take an incredible twist or change in the Conservatives’ fortunes for the next Prime Minister after Sunak to be a Tory but some names from that party feature in the market.

Kemi Badenoch – the favourite to be the Next Conservative Leader – is second in the betting but the Secretary of State for Business and Trade would need to win her seat, hope her party win the election and Sunak fails to be re-elected to stand any chance.

Former Home Secretary Suella Braverman is another prominent Conservative politician in the betting but, as outlined, it is a remote prospect.
