Next Labour leader odds: Who is the favourite to succeed Keir Starmer?

The runners and riders.

Keir Starmer

It seems only little green men invading from outer space could stop Keir Starmer from gaining the keys to 10 Downing Street when voters in the UK head to the polls on Thursday, July 4.

The latest opinion polls and Paddy Power’s betting odds for the UK General Election suggest Labour are on course to return to power for the first time since 2010 and secure a thumping majority to boot.

If that scenario plays out then Starmer would be in a powerful position as Labour Party leader, but a week is a long time in politics and laurels cannot be rested upon.

Next Labour leader odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, details of the leading contenders to be the next party chief are below.
