Next Conservative leader odds: Who is the favourite to succeed Rishi Sunak?

Could the Tories soon be looking for a new chief?

Rishi Sunak’s gambled his political future by calling a General Election and he is likely face calls to stand aside as Conservative leader if that backfires.

The polls are not looking particularly great for the UK Prime Minister and the early signs ahead of the vote on Thursday, July 4 are that the Tories are heading for opposition after 14 years in Government.

It has even been suggested that Sunak faces a fight to hang on to his own seat Richmond and Northallerton in Yorkshire and an overall defeat to Labour would surely set the Conservatives on the hunt for a new head honcho.

Next Conservative leader odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, details of the leading contenders to be the next Tory chief are below.
