NFL Tips: Here’s our 26/1 Multi-Match Bet Builder for Saturday night’s games

NFL guru Andrew Cunneen gives us the lowdown on Saturday night's NFL games, Steelers @ Ravens & Texans @ Colts.

Saturday’s NFL Tips

Saturday, 9:30pm – Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens
Steelers to Win
Tyler Huntley – Over 0.5 Passing Touchdowns

Sunday, 1:16an – Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts
Texans to Win
CJ Stroud – Over 263.5 Passing Yards
Dalton Schultz Touchdown Scorer

Well, this is it. The last hurrah for teams to grab a spot in the postseason or to go sofa shopping ahead of the next four weeks. This is a peak sporting situation.

Right now, we’re in a moment where games have been flexed to Saturday night, as two teams have very direct paths to the playoffs.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, and the Houston Texans both desperately need to get one over their divisional rivals and in doing so, likely pave their way into ‘the tournament’.

And with Lamar Jackson being rested as the Ravens locked in the #1 seed, the Steelers have a real shot at doing so, albeit needing a loss from any of the teams ahead of them in the Wild Card pecking order. But the best bit is the Colts actually play the Texans in a winner-take-all clash. Oh the drama, I just love it.

    Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens

    Steelers to Win

Oftentimes, you just want to win a rivalry matchup. But occasionally, your success elevates you so far ahead of your opponent that resting your players is hilariously rubbing it in their faces, meaning the result is actually pointless. That’s where we’re at here.

The Ravens are going to be running a standard enough offense because they’ll want to keep their quirks under wraps ahead of the playoffs, and Snoop Huntley for all he’s good with his feet, is not cut out to make the reads that Lamar Jackson does.

Pittsburgh might be an appallingly bad unit, but they have a desire to win a game that stamps their ticket and that should be enough. Particularly as the Ravens can really only make six players inactive for this, meaning some starters will suit up and protect themselves from big clashes in a year they believe they’ll win the Super Bowl.

Tyler Huntley – Over 0.5 Passing Touchdowns

There’s just too good a price on this. He’ll play the full game, he’s good on his feet and they’ve enough depth at the receiver position for this to be a scenario that lands quite comfortably. Particularly if Pittsburgh are up big.

      (0.5)

          Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts

          Texans to Win

This just comes down to quarterbacking play, I think. As much as the Colts are at home and they’re wholly functional in the run game, I don’t think there’s enough creativity under Shane Steichen for Gardner Minshew to outscore CJ Stroud.

They last played in Week 2, which is night and day from where they both are now and one team is trending up, while the other is treading water.

Which team are teams afraid to play in the postseason? Well, neither – but more so the talented quarterback. Cometh the hour, cometh the DeMeco Ryans.

CJ Stroud – Over 263.5 Passing Yards

Gus Bradley is the defensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts and his MO has always been to be conservative when he’s in a must-win situation. It should allow an awful lot of completions for CJ Stroud, and then he’ll look to stump him in the end zone. It’s always been his way.

If the message from Ryans is to just take what Indy are giving him, Stroud should hit this tally after three quarters.

            (263.5)

              Dalton Schultz to Score Anytime

The Colts playing Cover 3 on defence will also mean there are easy passes underneath to be made. Dalton Schultz is ideal for attacking these soft spots when defenders are deep. He’ll be the go-to guy for Stroud.
