9.05pm: 49ers @ Cardinals

A 12.5 point spread is a big one for any team to overcome, especially on the road, but you have to back the 49ers to do it in Arizona. The 49ers are on a five game winning streak, the joint longest in the NFL. What really stands out is that the 49ers have covered 12.5 points in every single game.
This season they’ve averaged 29.2 points per game, the third best in the NFL, while the Cardinals have only averaged 17.7 points per game and ranked 27th in the NFL. Now they’re going to face a good 49ers defense and they’re going to struggle to put points on the board, while the 49ers should be able to run the ball with ease.
Christian McCaffrey Over 88.5 Rushing Yards
Christian McCaffrey is having an incredible year and he should be able to roll that through into Sunday’s game with the Cardinals. CMC’s rushing yard line is 88.5, a high total but it’s one that he’s covered in four of five games since the bye.
Only two teams allow more rushing yards per game than the Cardinals, which doesn’t bode well for their hopes of stopping McCaffrey. He’s been a monster all year long and should decimate the Cardinals’ terrible Cardinals D.

9.05pm: Commanders @ Rams
Over 50.5 Total Points
The line on Total Points sits at 50.5 having risen from 48.5 upon opening. The Rams are in good form on offense, scoring 31 or more points in their past three games, despite two of those being against elite defenses in the Browns and Ravens.
The Commanders have allowed a total of 90 points in their past two games and recently allowed Tommy DeVito and the Giants to score 31 on them. With the Rams playing great football on offense they should be able to put up some big numbers on the Commanders who have the worst passing defense in the league. They should also be able to contribute to a big score too, with Sam Howell potentially being able to turn this into a shootout.
Puka Nacua Anytime Touchdown
The Commanders simply can’t stop the pass. They’ve averaged 266 passing yards allowed per game, the worst in the NFL and should get torched by a QB of the quality of Matthew Stafford. The man who is most likely to benefit from this is Puka Nacua.
He’s only scored four touchdowns on the season but he’s racked up serious yardage at 1,113 and is one of Stafford’s favourite targets. In the past month he’s been targeted 31 times in the past four games. If that usage continues here, against such a bad passing defence, he should have a great chance of getting into the endzone.

Brandin Cooks Over 3.5 Receptions
Brandon Cooks has been ill this week but he is expected to play here and I think we’ll see a big week from the Cowboys WR. Last week against the Eagles he had a poor performance hauling in just two passes for 37 yards, but he was targeted five times.
He’s been pretty good since the bye and in that time he’s had 34 targets in seven games, an average of 4.8 times per game. I’d expect against a poor Bills secondary he should be able haul in Over 3.5 passes.
