Russell Wilson Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

The main headline of the Denver Broncos season has been their astonishing 70-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3, which came in the middle of an atrocious start to the season. After six games Sean Payton’s side were 1-5 and looking doomed but they are currently one of the hottest teams in the NFL, winning five in a row to improve to 6-5.

A big part of that run has been quarterback Russell Wilson, who is showing signs of being back to his playmaking best. With at least one scoring pass in every game this season Wilson is responsible for 21 of the Broncos 23 offensive TDs and is likely to be involved in another shootout with CJ Stroud in Houston. Look for Wilson to add another two touchdown passes to his total on Sunday.

Denver Broncos +3.5 Points

Being a Houston Texans fan this season has been a wild ride – they’ve got the consensus rookie of the year at quarterback, who is throwing to an explosive rookie wide receiver (Tank Dell) and another youngster enjoying a breakout season (Nico Collins). But despite this offensive firepower every game seems to go right down to the wire.

Five of Houston’s last seven games have been decided by three points or less with four of those being decided as time expired. Look for another close game between two teams chasing a playoff spot.

Detroit Lions @ New Orleans Saints

Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 86.5 Receiving Yards

While his team were surprisingly beaten on Thanksgiving, Amon-Ra St. Brown continued his excellent season with a nine catch, 95 yard performance and heading to New Orleans on Sunday provides him with a another opportunity to add to his impressive resume.

St. Brown will become the sixth receiver to cross 1,000 yards on Sunday, he currently sits on 993 and the Saints come into the game with a real problem. Star cornerback Marshon Lattimore is out for the rest of the season which will likely allow St. Brown even more space than he would normally get. The former USC man has 90 or more yards in 70% of his games this season, that won’t change on Sunday.

New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons

Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown

Derrick Henry used to be inevitable, whatever your defence could throw at him eventually he’d find a way to break away for a long touchdown run. While we’ve seen less of that this season he is still a major threat for anybody trying to tackle him. Last week he hammered the Carolina Panthers with two touchdowns, taking his season total to six.

Quarterback Will Levis has been hit and miss all season so the Titans will be reliant on Henry to provide a spark in a divisional matchup. Only three teams have allowed more rushing touchdowns than the Colts this season, which bodes well for Henry backers.

Atlanta Falcons @ New York Jets

New York Jets Defence Anytime Touchdown

The big swing in The Big Apple. All the preseason hype about the New York Jets ended when Aaron Rodgers was injured on the second play of the season and behind the arms of a conveyor belt of quarterbacks the Jets offence has been terrible.

While that is annoying for Jets fans it must be even more irritating for those on the other side of the ball in New York. In trying circumstances the Jets defence has been excellent at creating scoring chances, ranking sixth in the NFL in takeaways and facing Desmond Ridder this week they will fancy their chances of scoring a touchdown for the second week in a row. Ridder has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns this year and I’m backing the Jets defence at around 7/1 to score a touchdown this week.
