I think Alvin Kamara might be missing for New Orleans Saints. This Dallas Cowboys -4.5 is a tough line but it’s short enough to swing me. If we were talking -6.5, -7.5 then I might look away.
Saints have lost their last four with this handicap landing in the last two and the Cowboys have lost in recent weeks as well, but that previous game was in overtime and of course they lost the recent hammering in Atlanta.
They were in decent-enough form other than those two defeats. They’ve come up against a red-hot Kansas City Chiefs defence. I’m confident enough and with the fact that CeeDee Lamb is back, I’m taking Cowboys -4.5 in this one.
Under 47.5 total points
Every week we talk about the over/under line and for me it’s the fact that it’s 47.5. It’s just too big. We’ve spoken so often here in the past that Thursday Night Football, on the whole, is a low-scoring affair.
It is the quick turnaround? Probably. That plays a part in it, but we’ve seen teams rack up loads of points on a Sunday and come Thursday the points aren’t there. I think any Thursday night game where we’re talking 46, 47 points, some of them go to 50, it’s enough to take me into the unders.
No different this game, for me. That Under 47.5 line is high enough to go under.
Dalton Schultz anytime TD scorer
A favorite for Bet Builders involving the Cowboys, backing Dalton Schultz, because the value’s always there. He’s had a few quieter weeks but I’m willing to keep faith in him to get an Anytime Touchdown in this one.
He did against Las Vegas, again, it’s a value selection. We’ve got to consider as well that the Saints only allow 91.9 rushing yards per game. That’s actually the 3rd-best defensive record in the NFL against the rush.
I’m drawn away from that on that reason alone so I think the wide players will be receiving the ball. Go for Dalton Schultz to go over again and get an anytime TD in this one.
CeeDee Lamb anytime TD scorer
The price on CeeDee Lamb anytime TD scorer as a single is good enough to back for me but to add him into the Bet Builder you’re just boosting the other three selections from about 12/1. Ceedee Lamb is back for the Cowboys and that will give them a huge boost.
I don’t really need to say anything else about him that we don’t already know. In 10 games he has 50 receptions, 740 yards, six touchdowns as well. The value’s there. He’s a huge value selection and one that we can be confident will deliver.
